Sandy was just a wee girl in age and size, but ever so big on nice personality. She was among my favorites to work with, and I was good friends with her mom and dad. I think she may have been but a sophomore in high school when I first photographed her as a Beauty of the Week. Also, let it be observed that there could be a no more "Newark-y" environment - it was shot at the Horn's Hill park. But what I like about it is the perfect light and the really nice tonal scale of dark grays in the stone and wood that lets Sandy dominate the photo.
