Any time of the year is a good time to reflect
on the beauty and the agony of the ice storm of 2004.

Many area residents struggled because of downed power lines
and impossible driving conditions and limbs that had snapped from trees.

Meanwhile, these climbing roses were beautifully entombed
and enhanced by the mix of water crystals and sun drops.
